(this blog was done at Bus 96 going to work. I stopped typing when I alighted and continued writing at Bus 33 going home. It was the best feeling.)
While walking to work, i saw a father carrying his daughter who’s sleeping at his back. I took a snap very fast before they crossed the street or move in a different position.
It reminded me of my daddy. :)
I miss him. I miss him being protective of me. :)
We had our own ups and downs. Just like any other father and daughter relationships. And i thank God for that. Coz he made our relationship even better. :)
He shows us how he loves my mommy the way a husband should love his wife.
Best of all, he showed us how to love God the way a son/daughter should love their Father.
He shows us how to live a life with dignity. With pride. That happiness can’t be found on things. You can find it first by loving and being contented on what you have around you-and that’s your family, your truest friends, your loved ones. That matters most to him.
Contentment. He really instilled that on us. :) You can see that in him. He’s the man na ‘walang inggit sa katawan’. :)
Behind the masungit face, he’s the funniest among the Alejos. When he cracks a joke, or make ‘banat’, everyone laughs. I don’t want to spoil where he got it, but most on his tv show list are comedy. (no.1 on the list: FRIENDS) :))
and to top it all up, here’s my “Wala ka sa daddy ko” moment: :)) he doesnt do ANY vices. Smoking and drinking? Nada. :) he didnt hide it that he did those things when he was young, but when when he started this family, our family, he turned his back on it. :) (MYDP: Make Your Daughter Proud) ;)
I miss you a lot. I know we rarely hug and all but i hope this can suffice everything i missed. I hope you don’t feel like i dont care or im always mad at you (im just upset sometimes) but i really do love you and soo proud to have a daddy like you. :)
Thank you daddy. Thank you for giving me the greatest gift anyone could give to another person: You believed in me.
See you soon. :)
